Who Is TR?

Therapeutic Recreation (TR) provides year-round recreation and leisure opportunities that encourage an active, healthy lifestyle for children, teens, and adults with developmental disabilities.

Our goal is to promote a meaningful leisure lifestyle that improves social, cognitive, and emotional functioning while enhancing participants' abilities, independence, and quality of life.

Come tour the Therapeutic Recreation Activity Center. Try your hand at arts and crafts, cooking and games - fun for everyone! Learn about the recreation and inclusion services provided by the department.
