William J. Hance

William J. Hance is the Chief Financial Officer, Qualified Purchasing Agent, and Tax Collector of the Borough of Watchung.  Bill holds the C.M.F.O., C.T.C. and R.P.P.S. licenses from Rutgers Center of Government Services, as well as a BS in finance and MBA in accounting from Seton Hall University.  Some of his duties include overseeing all aspects of revenue collection, budgeting, debt financing, and accounts payable.  He is also a member of the Watchung Green Team where he assists with the seasonal  Farmers Market, Green Fair, and Sustainable Jersey certification requirements.  He is assisted by Katherine Vilarino in the Tax Department and Elvia Horsfall in the Finance Department.
