Council President Christine B. Ead

I have been a resident for over 19-years, and it is my pleasure and honor to work on behalf of all who call our beautiful Borough of Watchung home.

As Council President my focus is to work with the Mayor, Council and Borough employees to move initiatives forward that best serve the well-being and interest of the public.

I am Chair of Public Works where a priority is placed on safety, infrastructure improvements and providing services that enhance the quality of life for all residents.

Other areas of involvement include:

• Police Committee Member
• Liaison to Traffic and Beautification (T&B)
• Commissioner for the Plainfield Area Regional Sewerage Authority
• (PARSA)
• Municipal Wastewater Management
• Commissioner to Greenbrook Flood Control Commission
