Library Renovations

At the Mayor and Council’s February 15, 2024 meeting, several professionals presented on a comprehensive plan for upgrades to the Watchung Library located at 12 Stirling Road. That meeting video can be found in our video library.

During the meeting, Potter Architects presented the project in detail. Those plans can be seen here:

At this same meeting, Phoenix Advisors and Archer and Greiner presented on the anticipated funding source. A copy of the bond ordinance (24/03) introduced can be found on this page.

Bond ordinance 24/03 is scheduled for a public hearing and will be considered for adoption at the Mayor and Council meeting of March 7, 2024.
