TAKE NOTICE THAT in compliance with the provisions of the Open Public Meetings Act of the State of New Jersey, the Borough of Watchung, Somerset County, hereby announces that the Planning Board has scheduled the following on its agenda for the Regular Planning Board Meeting on the following date: Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 6:30 pm. The meeting will take place in person at the Brough of Watchung Municipal Building, 15 Mountain Blvd., Watchung NJ 07069.

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the public hearing is a continuation of the public hearing that was commenced at a special meeting of the planning board which took place on October 10, 2023. The purpose of this notice is to correct any alleged deficiencies regarding the adequacy of notice of that special meeting under the N.J. Open Public Meetings Act. (OPMA). 

Any interested member of the public who failed to receive notification of the October 10, 2023 meeting and has an interest in this application may appear, and will be heard, at the Board’s October 17, 2023 Meeting at 6:30 pm.

The Applicant's Plans will be available for viewing at the Planning Board Office, 15 Mountain Blvd, Watchung, NJ 07069 between the hours of 10:30 am – 2:20 pm.

Meetings will be streamed live via Zoom as a courtesy. Public comment is not allowed via Zoom live streaming. However, public comment is allowed from members of the public who attend in-person meetings. All meetings will be held in the Council Chambers, Borough of Watchung Municipal Building, 15 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung, New Jersey. OFFICIAL ACTION MAY BE TAKEN.
